What the hell is a Tweetup??

I’ve been “on” Twitter for a couple of years now. I’ve learned a lot, I “met” new people and had some online chats, I advertised my blog posts, events I organized and/or participated in, all from the comfort of my laptop and BlackBerry.

Less than a year ago, one of my twitter friends invited me to a tweetup, to meet some of the people I chatted with IRL (In Real Life). All of a sudden, Twitter had a whole new meaning for me – it opened doors, helped me with my business, I met some great people, and even sparked the idea of Riding4aCause!
