For me it was the understanding of a new generation, and trying to cater to the way they absorb information, rather then using \u201cwhat we\u2019ve always done\u201d, as we hear so often.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">The willingness to change, to adjust to the new generation, and communicate with them on their terms, is what will determine the effectiveness of their campaign.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Some of the points the creators of the Brand Campaign have considered, when designing the campaign:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align:left;\">\n<li><a title=\"Generation Y\" rel=\"#someid4\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Generation_Y\">Generation Y<\/a> has grown up in a world where Internet, music downloads, instant messaging and mobile phones are the norm.<\/li>\n<li>In choosing a job, they value training, management style, work flexibility, staff activities and non-financial rewards over salary.<\/li>\n<li>They look for real life role models and mentors rather than stereotypes.<\/li>\n<li>Young people work to live rather than live to work \u2013 they are looking for fun, quality friendships and a fulfilling purpose.<\/li>\n<li>(They are)\u2026happy to work hard to earn the respect of their peers.<\/li>\n<li>(We must do our best in)\u2026<strong>avoiding clich\u00e9s <\/strong>of what is perceived as the typical accountant. The tone should be <strong>upbeat <\/strong>and aimed at <strong>engaging <\/strong>both mind and heart.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote><p>The Brand Campaign as a mix of <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Communication\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Communication\">communications<\/a> will be used to develop a <strong>deeper conversation<\/strong> with our <a class=\"zem_slink\" title=\"Target audience\" rel=\"wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Target_audience\">target audience<\/a> and will integrate with both online communications and the complementary(\u2026)TV campaign.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">How do you communicate with your target audience? Do you find them where they are, or doing it \u201clike you\u2019ve always done it\u201d, using \u201ctraditional\u201d methods?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">If you\u2019re a numbers person, take a good look at this table.
