My Journey

Over the past 25 years, I’ve accumulated unparalleled experiences. I won’t bore you with my roles, but rather the highlights of my career, personal and volunteering life.

It goes without saying, that my life was shaped by my family and my 3 boys, who taught me many life lessons along the way.

  • 1972

    Born - Eilat, Israel

I was born in the beach town, on the Sinai Peninsula in Israel. My father, who was serving in the Israeli Air Force, moved us around the country quite a bit, but starting my life at this little town, was a great starting point.

  • 1990

    Graduating High School

Following my graduation, I have began my military service. My unit opted for an additional year of volunteering before enlisting into the compulsory service.
My unit (my mates from the youth movement I was a member of), set up a commune in a little village in the North of Israel, working with the local kids and just helping around the community.

  • 1997

    Migration to Australia

I graduated business school, and migrated to Australia a month later. I was lucky to find a business to sponsor me, and allow me to migrate to the Lucky Country.

  • 2007

    Learned a lesson

My first start up. I invested all I had, and lost it all a year later, during the GFC, but the lessons I've learned proved very valuable.

  • 2008

    Job Camp

During the Global Financial Crisis, many people have lost their jobs, the same way I've lost my company. I've joined forces with a few mates, to set up a series of free conferences, designed to help people re-invent their careers.

  • 2009

    Personal Rebrand

Following the demise of my startup, I re-skilled myself in Social Media for business. Uncharted territory at the time. I became the go-to man for businesses and business leaders wishing to learn about this new space, and its' business application.

  • 2010

    Riding 4 a Cause

With a group of fellow motorcycle enthusiasts, I set up Riding4acause in 2009 - a global initiative to encourage men to open up, and talk. We put together a safe community, and promote men's mental health.
A year later, we've embarked on the first Black Dog Ride - a national annual ride around Australia, with over 200 motorcyclists joining us around the country.

  • 2014

    Global Marketing Director

I expanded my expertise to digital marketing and digital business transformation. I was hired by a client to set up global strategy, design and take on a global role, rolling out the new corporate strategy.

  • 2016

    Orange Sky CMOs

Combining skills and experience, I've set up Orange Sky CMOs. We were a group of gray-hair corporate marketing executives, applying our skills to mid-sized companies, on a part-time basis. 3 years later, the company merged with Stylequity, a business advisory firm.

  • 2017

    Justice of the Peace

A volunteer position, to help my local community.

  • 2018

    CWS Israel

Took over the ownership and management of CWS Israel, a Contingent Workforce Management company. I manage the company and local resources from the other side of the world. Just like my clients manage their remote employees. Walking the walk...
The company growth curve resembles a hokey stick. During the COVID19 pandemic, the company grew a further 30% (profitable growth).
