An adventure for a good cause!
Every now and again I’d like to experience something new. Something BIG, audacious, an adventure.
If you’ve known me for a while, you’ve seen some of the adventures I’ve been involved with. If we’ve just met – this will give you a taste of what to expect of me.
This year, I was “invited” to co-drive a Shitbox. My buddy Rick Elenbaas asked if I know somebody… I said yes! I didn’t even hear what it was all about. But he said #Shitbox, #Rally, and #charity. That’s all I needed to know. I was in!
Rick told me that this Rally is his 3rd, so I knew I was in good hands. All we needed to bring is a car, $2500 in donations (Rick already raised $2500, before even calling me!), gear and sponsors. We had a couple of months to get it all done. No sweat!
So – in 16 days we go on the road. We’ve raised over $5,000 in donations, to be eligible to participate in the rally. We’ve had a Shitbox (car), donated! We got over $5000 in sponsorship money, from very generous donors.
WE NEED MORE! More support for our little team – A small (or big!) donation through our page (below), nice words of encouragement, and whatever else you can think of that will make this experience worthwhile to all – cancer patients, Cancer Council of Australia, us, you and the rest of humanity!
